Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Tupelo, Mississippi
We are a group of like-minded individuals who have come together to
form a community dedicated to a common spiritual search for truth and
meaning.
Our Mission Statement: We join
together to create a nurturing, inclusive environment for the
exploration of ideas and the informed search for spiritual truth.
Our Covenant with each other:
As people of progressive faith we come together to celebrate
life's
mysteries and hope. Thus, we do covenant with each other to: Create a
welcoming, caring, justice-seeking community by: Accepting and
treating all in attendance with respect; encouraging, listening and
sharing; and displaying tolerance, calmness and dignity while
supporting this congregation and its endeavors. In this spirit, we
commit ourselves to serve one another while responding to the needs of
our community and upholding the principles set forth by the
Unitarian-Universalist Association.
We meet at Temple B’nai Israel, located at 1301 Marshall Street in Tupelo, Mississippi, on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. Our lay minister is Bob Spencer.
You are always welcome here!
