Doak's Last Stand
in Tupelo
Reverend Doak Mansfield,
Doctor of Theology
Our good friend, mentor, coach and spiritual guide delivered his last regular service for us on April 17, 2011.
Doak and Peggy have been called to the Ministry of Red Hill Universalist Church in Clinton, North Carolina.
Doak has been with us since May 2nd 2004, the days when we were a Fellowship and helped us grow to become a recognized Congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations, the national body of our faith group.
His unique style of delivery and his inspired use of music with spiritual meaning has become a much anticipated event on Third Sunday, "Doak's Sunday" of our gatherings. We shall miss his presence greatly but we are grateful for the experience and love he and Peggy have so freely given to us.
