HELPING HANDS FOOD BANK
For the Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday season we add fresh fruit, usually apples and oranges
to the usual canned and dry foods the Helping Hands usually have available.
From the 2007 event our participating members were: Mary Ann Howton and her "Florida Friend", Mark Shermans, T.O. Sheffield, Sammi Swinney, Denise Backstrom, Otho Stevens and Betty & Bob Spencer.
This additional gift is always greatly appreciated and we all feel good in our hearts after the hard morning's work. In the years of 2008, 2009 and 2010 we have continued our participation and our special fruit addition during the winter holidays.

Butch and Kevin have a cabin on a lake near Pontotoc and it is a favorite place
to celebrate the wonders of nature, especially those holidays of the season.
These are scenes from our 2010 celebration.
