To Parents: Welcome All!
Children's Religious Education
Parents and children, welcome to our Religious Education (RE) Service. Children's RE is every Sunday at 11:00 A.M. We would appreciate a call in advance so we can have age-appropriate materials ready.
Please bring your child to service a few minutes early so that he or she can get to know the other children in the group, sign the attendance book, and explore their new surroundings. If your child has any special needs, please let us know as soon as possible.
The curriculum for Children's RE for 2008 will be Stewardship and the Seven Principles for UU. This curriculum can be found on the UUA website(www.uua.org). Additional RE resources include Celebrations, by Barnabas and Anabel Kindersley and Celebrating Me and My World by Debora Chandler Pratt. Parents are welcomed to join in the service as well, and volunteers are greatly appreciated.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
Thank you,
Mary Katherine Spencer-Salopek, Children’s RE Leader

Adult Religious Education
Adult Religious Education meets at 11AM on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Since our Adult Discussion Group began in September 2002, we have covered the History of Unitarian Christianity, Unitarianism and Universalism in America, and Unitarian-Universalism, as well as Humanism.
The first half of 2008 we read and discussed the works of Unitarian Ralph Waldo Emerson as contained in the book “The Spiritual Emerson”. This series of discussions concluded June 15. The current topic is reading and discussing the book “The Power of Now”. This book is widely available in trade paperback as well as hardback.
This is an informal discusssion group, and all are welcome. For more information
